Hi My name is Peita Crawford
I have been a part of the entertainment industry in Australia ever since I could standup in a pair of tap shoes. I have worked with many talented people over the years including Graham Kennedy, Burt Newton, Hector Crawford, Reg Grundy, Fred Schepisi, George Miller, Charles Bud Tingwell, Jill Bilcock just to name a few.
Having learnt so much from these talented extraordinary Aussies over the decades and being a part of this wonderful industry that we call the Aussie entertainment industry.
I would like to share with you my feature film 'The Caravan’ it is set in 1977 in Oz. This film is a dramatic comedy with a twist so if you think The Castle meets Muriel’s Wedding your on the right page. This film also means a lot to me as it is very close to my heart and it has been along time in the making. I can promise you the story that is The Caravan will make you cry, laugh a lot and it will also surprise you. The 70’s in Australia was the best time ever, it was a time of innocence fun and a time when we didn’t have to worry about offending people we pretty much went with flow.
So join me for this trip down memory lane I can promise you that you will love it .
Cheers
Peita Crawford.
